HUGE RDRAM PRICE GAP VS DDR
Thanks to Kiddal on the FOOL

...(current differences in Dell systems range from $70 to $100 estimated for an identically configured system with 128MB DRAM)...

800 MHz PIII/RDRAM = $1579
800 MHz PIII/RDRAM = $1538
-----
$ 41

The RDRAM system is a whopping 2.7% more expensive. Less than the sales tax.

DDR is unavialable so cost is infinite - gggg

Well we have been smelling a bad odor from the DDR for the last 8 months. This would not surprise me.
