I am on vacation in the San Juan Islands looking for whales. I haven't found any yet but I have made several calls on my G* phone while looking and dodging in and out of cell coverage. Once when I tried to connect via cell, I was told by AT&T that I wasn't authorized to roam in this area?! Oh well, I just switched from Airtouch cellular to sat mode and no problema. After a tough day at sea, it was great to see Greg's post! He obviously has done his homework by talking directly to sp's. What he has heard from them mirrors my experience with the various distributors with whom I have spoken. It also mirrors a discussion I had last week with a G* official (not ir) especially the part about marketing efforts and on-going investment by the sp's. Among other things I was assured that the sp partner support would be there IF and when needed. Thanks again Greg and I look forward to more of your posts. Now back to whale looking and maybe eventually watching.
