The breakdown of Flash has something to do with the buildup of charge in one part of the transistor -- this is something I don't understand at all -- you need an engineer to explain this.

If you load and empty your Flash card 3 times a day (which would be a lot), 100,000 cycles gives you 91 years of use. It's really not an issue.

I would think that the decoder ring is not a threat to MRAM since most kids, I would think, pass out of the ring stage before they make it to MP3. But I have heard that MRAM might have to have magnetically shielded packaging -- I'm not sure if this was for all applications.
