This stock has traded in a very narrow band for the past month. Not sure why either. Good earnings report, great projections. Is the market just that rational on this one, that it priced exactly where it should be? Yeah right. MO is about to go pos and MACD hasn't left the positive. I feel a spring winding.

K., thanks for the kind remarks on the GNET thread. Here is an interesting note derived from the Y board today. Jefferies & Company rates CLKS a buy with an unspecified date target of $24.

netcognizance.com

Jefferies compares CLKS with other e-learning enterprises which trade at far higher LQA multiples than does CLKS. Jefferies considers the disparity to be unjustified. CLKS trades at 6.6x. The other multiples are: DTHK 52.1x; SABA 40.2x; SMTF 12.9x. The Jefferies report became public, courtesy Multex, before the market opened yesterday and does not appear to have had any lasting effect on price. However, yesterday was a particularly down day for NASD stocks, as you know. I find it interesting that Jefferies fails to explain why it targets CLKS at only about half of the difference between it and SMTF. Applying its own logic's minimum, Jefferies target for CLKS should be in the $30 to $32 range. With apologies to Doris Day, "Que sera, sera."

K, according to CBS MarketWatch today, Needham initiated coverage of CLKS, rated it a Strong Buy and targeted $22 for next 6 to 12 months. Here's hoping CLKS doesn't move in the opposite direction as it did, beginning about a week ago, when Upside Today viewed us favorably, saying CLKS was undervalued relative to its competition. I wonder what impelled the sharp decline since then. There has been an absence of unfavorable news.
