Hutch: selling puts is the best way to buy stock, except when the stock suddenly takes off. Another shortfall is brokers like etrade wants 40% margin for selling puts. As per buying calls what is your overall success ratio? Most buyers of options lose money. I prefer buying stock, selling puts, and writing covered calls, particularly LEAPS. Like right now I have a net positive cash flow with long cmgi and short Jan'03 40 Calls. Well may be I am being too naive trying to teach a pro. Good Luck to you.
