Carl R: vis a vis our earlier discussion - the CFO said that his aim in the coming 4 qtrs was to bring R&D down first to 33% then to 25%: he seemed a bit rueful about the high level of R&D but emphasised that it had been and would continue to be "leveraged". I interpret this to mean that the R&D was leveraging sales - that it was producing new products or updates and improvements to existing products.
