Heard a National Public Radio report yesterday based on articles on xenotransplantation that were have to come out yesterday in "Nature" and "Science". In retort to the claim that the immune compromised mice had pig viruses that had been passed on, one scientist explained that the mice with no immune system normally are kept in a sterile environment anyhow and are susceptible to any viruses.
