According to the companies information, it seems 3G CDMA is under development at LSI. As they claim to develop 3G CDMA chips, its likely they have the licenses to sell them (if a customer shows up). An IS-95B chip (the old CDMA standard) is available from LSI since early 1999.

OK, let´s wait for their announcements...
