O I am sure they will have that some day but in the meantime infospace has alerts for stocks on your cellphone which I just set up......I have this voicestream phone that uses a GSM protocol to send data which is why I have it..... well I didn't know it till now but infospace signed voicestream up so for 5 bucks a month and a free sixty day look I just signed on to the deal to get a better look at what infospace is about.....it offers email to any device from any device or pc and a bunch of other stuff with alerts....here is what it says which don't show up here well but you will get the idea......I set up alerts to send to my cell phone stock prices at mid day and to tell me about any news about gnet or if the stock goes above 55....you could have alerts for all this other stuff too....I will let you know what I think of it....the other cool thing is that when you set it up it brings you to a portal like infospace page which I am sure will look more like a go2net portal page in the future...so everyone who signs up for this will be forced to put their eyeballs on more than just the sign up info for alerts.....what a way to get eyeballs.....infospace gets paid for hookup and to boot people are led to infospace homepage!!!!!... for some reason the set up with voicestream does not allow hooking into the web directly like to websites...perhaps not yet implemented under gsm...but I noticed the same package on ATT powered by infospace offered much more including links to any website you wanted and premiere sites that I guess were designed to look ok on a small screen...att phone is actually two phones in one...it uses cdpd protocol like these palm pilots to hook to web and cell line for voice..only two phones currently will work with this you can get some idea bout this also by signing in as guest at this link which it looks like you need to cut and paste in.
