HWP -- when will they learn. Earnings are being sold these days. Another CC that left analysts skeptical and frustrated by spin -- and these guys are not the brightest rocks in the pile anyway.

IMO it is simple greed that makes people jump in after-hours. I mean, it's one thing to jump on an issue if it's oversold a bit and the earnings are good, but this is just greed again. They don't want to miss a single point!

Would love to see a study since, say, April, of how many after-hours highs have held during the next day.

.04 on "currency-exchange gains". Pa-leeeze! Would they have excluded the loss if the dollar were weak?

Another .04 was for some exceptional tax-rate gain. Now we are down to .89 instead of the .97 blowout figure.

The year-ago figure of .71 had exceptional costs included in it, including A spinoff, so one would expect that figure to be beat from the outset.
