I was considering buying a vacation place there in Feb. when I was + instead of - in the market. What a day today. We caught some fish, had a good lunch and the predicted storm split and went around us. Bill said it was a good day for him to go as his wife was testifying in a murder trial today. What a show!! Just before we got there a guy launched his new $30,000 fishing boat. Next he launched his new 55 foot motor home. He meant to launch the boat but not the motor home. Boat floated, motor home didn't. Took TWO wreckers to pull it out. I told the deputy if he'd move his car I could launch next to the Titanic, he told me I should "grow a heart". I also mentioned if he'd shot some holes in the home it would drain faster. He said it wouldn't be worth the paper work. The guy had also blew the tranny as he was going beneath the waves. The motor home and boat are still sitting in the parking lot. Might be a shot at getting a good deal on a "needs repair, slightly damp" rig. There might be worse ways of starting a vacation but I can't think of any right now.
