Even more importantly, I would think, than P/C Volume or Open Interest is to know "where" the curve is.

Taking the OEX, for example, I would be nice to know that the bulk of the Open Interest on the Put side is around 800 (to take any number for purpose of illustration) and the bulk of the OEX Call O.I. was around 840.

Knowing this, I could presume a Bullish stance were the OEX to drive to the 830s as expiration approached, and vice-versa a Bearish stance were it to approach the 800 level.

I know that information is available somewhere; getting to it has not been a successful venture from this end.
