To: Jon Tara who wrote (14156 ) 8/17/2000 12:59:45 PM From: PartyTime Respond to of 18366 I think JT has plausibly described his reasons for participating on this thread with his statement below: >>>I am, quite simply, entertained by this thread. And, in addition, curious enough about the real story about the rise to 24 and change to follow the story until the truth is known. And I'll bet there is a fascinating story behind the persistent appearance of EDIG on RB's front-page "most popular thread" list. (Who ever first thunk of THAT - that it might be possible to float the price of an OTC-BB stock by filling a thread with nonsense to keep it "popular" and thus on a front-page list?) I have no doubt that the truth will eventually be known. I hope we can read about it some day, in Wired, or Red Herring, or some other publication. I suspect it will be one of those "it's amazing how gullible people are" kinda stories. But, who knows, it could be a big success story. We shall see, but either way, bet there is a hell of a story there.<<< However, much as he wishes us to verify he's never been employed by a Norris company by wanting us to call the Norris companies, I think the same kind of responsiiblity he 's requesting of us also rests with him. He should contact the company to solve some of his concerns. The company may not be as entertaining as some of us, but he might well get an answer to what he perceives as problems. Were Jon located in New York, Boston, San Juan, Amsterdam or Hong Kong or Cuba I'd understand. But to live in San Diego where EDIG has headquartered facilities, where company executives meet, and not take an easy and, yes, necessary step to LEARN more about EDIG prior to posting damaging and/or inneuendo type messages, to say the least, makes much of his posting suspect. That his refusal to meet with e.Digital representatives has become so prolonged is even more complexing. If you think about it, for all of the time alloted to his writing and our responses perhaps we'd ALL save time and money (yes, money is time expended) if he'd pay a simple visit to the company and established some quality contact. Am I really out of bounds by making such a suggestion? I don't think so. PS: Jon, you've often called for real names to exist behind the posts. For the record, PartyTime is Michael Weddle. However, I submit direct eye contact is even better. So go visit EDIG, will ya!
