While your theory is interesting there is the other side of the trade to be considered. In your example a huge number of "future buyers" have been created. I consider it very dangerous to "short" a low float stock. The smart money may use the "short attack" as a good signal to go long in anticipation of the need to cover at some point.

I have always felt that if a stock deserves to go up it will and if it deserves to go down it will. Any attempt by anyone to impede this process will only result in pain at the end of the day.

Just my thoughts.

insidetruth.com

each one is a turd and a failure as a company I just nailed the. I didnt run their business into the ground, I just exposed them. I didnt cause the price to fall, I just advised everyone I was betting against them.
Next time I sell something short , go long.

Be happy
