All in all, my take on the cc was very satisfying. Not a peep about the EdgeDirector woes which are now history. I did not detect any negative tones from any of the analysts. On the contrary, everone seemed quite pleased with Ciena's stellar performance. I expect the upgrades, and target revisions to begin pouring in. CNBC just did a gushing report on CIEN and actually had the story mostly correct. They called us the "big" Maryland fiber optics company. Are we grown up enough now to lose our SI IPO status? <g> I totally agree with you about upgrades and revisions. Aside from the great numbers, I think CIEN's habit of using education rather than hype with the Street is about to see a nice payoff. Nothing was said but I don't think the lack of swapping shares for business has escaped attention either. CIEN made it clear they are very comfortable competing on merit. It appeared to me from the analysts' questions that CIEN has been busy scoring a lot of trust and credibility points. - peggylynn
