Rarebird -- Yes the chart on T does not look like a runaway tech stock,, YET! IMO time will take care of that and probably not a lot of time either. It is unlikely Malone will do much but make noise and add pressure IMO. Tracking stocks make very little sense to T or any other company. AWE has done nothing for T or for holders of AWE. If Armstrong had decided to spin the wireless away T would have run. Even more so if a percentage was to be spun to T shareholders like coms/palm. It would have beneficial to AWE holders also as they would own the company instead of a paper track of a portion of what T owns. Lets hope Malone kicks hard enough to get some SPIN!
