Glib restatement of the obvious, of the topics which have been discussed to death, in the form of a media article, is entirely useless and indicates a need to look significant. This is a major problem for all media in this era. They wish to look good at the expense of good ideas. You make superficial comments whose generality loses the insight stolen from others. Instead of rehashing why not come up with ideas? You claim it's time to back up the truck. Why? You give no evidence for your prejudice. The reason why is that you don't have any more answers than the incompetent ATHM management. You're doing the same as them, hoping someone will bail out all their pretense to knowledge, a knowledge presumed because of association. When you are associated with gods you deserve to be paid like a god. It's all about worthiness. When one is paid to perform one must perform whether one knows any tricks or not. You represent precisely why ATHM is a failure. You're part of the same hand out entitlement crowd that populates ATHM and that has been designated as worthy, yet you, as they, have nothing to contribute except cheer leading.
