WSTL is looking better. I'm seeing a few large blocks go through on the buy side. It's getting ready. Auric is about to get sucked out of the window of his Lear Jet.

Rich: I can't speak to the specifics of WSTL's MSLAM, but I do know that depending on the area of the country you're in devices such as MSLAM's represent true value. For instance, as building management, REIT's, etc., have come to understand the potential added value their property wiring represents in todays environment.....well....they're just naturally trying to leverage it with their tenant bases. And leverage it in such a manner that the "added value" devices don't consume too much valuable floor-space, nor require too much special "handling," like special extra power needs, etc..

And in such crowded areas as NYC, etc., these products could do VERY well. Particularly in that area of the west side of the city, which has become known as "Silicon Alley." Yup, I see some opportunities there. Hell, for that matter MSLAM's, remote DSLAM's, etc., can be considered good ideas for suburban communities, although it'll take a little more of a "hardened" site condition to accommodate outside environ's.

Meanwhile...why...color me surprised....WSTL's moving up! ;-)

John~

Rich, I think the company is silent
in this area because it very sensitive to the Web spread of information and the area is a critical 2001 market phenomenon.

Yes 2001, i believe, what is disseminated today is low volume and very hypester.

for example, Copper Mtn had an initial launch with SDSL and it was very costly. the market won't take that way, the cost points must be lower and ADSL must be predominant from the MDU arena, but the platform must be flexible enough for MTU applications or predominantly business oriented, then you need voice apps.

The VODSL, VOIP stuff is next year at the onset. with high growth 2002 probably, but maybe in 12 months. There will be a great deal of competition in this area in the coming months; Wailan, Pulsecomm, some others beyond the current market topology.

What is WSTL gonna do? Just ask.
