i know...and i know it won't last and eventually the piper will be paid. but go and check the details of the BLS reports...housing costs have barely increased according to them! neither rent increases nor real estate price rises are anywhere to be found...they're using this rent-equivalent formula, which assumes housing costs as what an owner would have to pay if he rented. as soon as you see the words ASSUMPTION and ADJUSTMENT anywhere in the govt.'s statistics, you're looking at outright lies and inventions. they 'assume' whatever suits them...
