YOU
>>My example: "Dad, can I spend some time with you to talk about my science project. I'm busy, GO do it yourself."

ME
>>Your use of the word "GO" as a personal directive which negates help/service was framed by your perception.>>

YOU
>>So, you are interpreting that sentence as a positive act as opposed to a rejection and negative? The response wasn't "Let's GO do it!" It was, and I paraphrase myself, "NO frickin' way! I don't want to." How else can you interpret it using normal contextual usage of language?>>

Nope, we are on the same page. I interpreted your sentence as a negative directive as in "NO frickin' way!" I just said it "negates the help/service" contained in the original appeal.

GO is one of the hardest words to attach context and definition to.

NO begs for context and definition. As soon as you think of the word NO you are almost automatically seeking an object or definition to control/own/define/label.

Peace.

Note: that's it. I won't be back on SI for another four days. Off to sing and embrace GO down south. Peace. .
