<..negative encounter with Charles and Kash (others?) recently on this board. Have they all gone "short"?>

This is outrageous. Are you accusing us of making up
BS in order to move the stock? Didn't you want to
know "What in the hell is this stock doing priced in
the $60s?" I guess Charles has answered this question.
And I think Jerry himself is in the dark.

Regards,
- Ali

Crazyoldman...Re..<<<I am sorry to have seen your negative encounter with Charles and Kash (others?) recently on this board. Have they all gone "short"? <<<

I am not sure what you mean by negative encounter. I never went negative on AMD. I believe mngt. has done a good, solid job since I joined the board last Sept. I don't believe Chuck dissed mngt. because he was short, but rather he was trying to blame someone for the predicament he and the stock was in. Blame the other guy is all the rage nowadays; and if you can blame someone else, then some people feel better about themselves and their decisions.

Re..I also agree with your points, it's just too bad we have so many good posters willing to "get in the mud" rather than "let it slide once in a while". <<<<

Well, I guess that would be me partially. Chuck wanted to let it slide after I asked for proof of his accusations. The trouble is, I felt I couldn't let it slide. These types of accustions against mngt. can be damaging to a stocks price. What investor wants to invest in a company run by ninnys; AMD has been trying hard to dispel old myths; yet here comes Chuck dissing AMD'S mngt. without proof. While I wasn't hurting, as I took Kash's advice and sold my margin at 86, I didn't need another drop, and by the letters, other guys were hurting also. Thats why I had to push it. Chuck has yet to offer any evidence he was at planning meetings, and Goutma took care of Kash for me. It may have left a bad taste in everyones mouth, but at least the bad mngt. charges have disappeared. And the price rebounded from the 50s to 67 + so life is good again.
