Kash & Jim,

And probably a piece of the action.

I may do that eventually. I'm just not ready to sacrifice the things I have here, like my friends and family. I know it's strange to say this, since we're all investors, but my friends and family are often more important to me than making money.

[ooh! slightly on-topic stuff approaching!]

I probably shouldn't tell you this, but I have information from certain ... sources ... that AMD PR people do not make much more money than I do from my regular job. The benefit of being an AMD PR guy is that you get to travel to many places and speak to many people, most of them very friendly (probably).

Incidentally, I am somewhat envious at those AMD PR guys since they got that one-time three week extra salary bonus,. But that's just a one-time thing, so I don't need to gawk at it forever.

But you're right about the web page thing. Before I took up paddleball and pool, the webpage was really the only thing I was regularly looking forward to in life. The greatest feeling in the world is knowing that people think that you're a good guy. It's more important than a boost in earnings that I'd get from throwing away my current life and taking up a better job.

....hmmm, but that of course doesn't mean that I dislike making money. ;)
