Les, you are thinking of the Jul/99 dip. Since Aug/99 I do not think we have printed below 19.xx

Not that it matters much, but I'd like to see it close under 20 today.

Yup, looking for down on Mon personally, certainly by Wed.

S&P 500 looks cheap

1999 Operating EPS growth was 15.0 %
2000 Operating EPS growth est 13.4 %
2001 Operating EPS growth est 9.3 %

P/E was 33 at end of 1999 but growth was 15.0%
P/E is now 31 but next year's growth est is 9.3%.

Looks like market needs interest rate cuts.
