Claude, Yes i agree, except that in the next 13 weeks before the usa prez election a situation might present itself ideal for many transactions between high up Republican movers and shakers and the Devil. A cynical view of the political system is required, and i have obtained a look-see from both sides, from those hurt and those that done the hurting. My speculation of a possible gold price explosion is based on the polls ranking Gore and Bush in October too close in numbers to predict a winner, leading to actions by powerful persons outside the usa government to inflict against Gore that long standing "Its the economy stupid." As for the GATA of Bill Murphy and those 2 or 3 or 5 others persons directly involved, plus those many visuable folks that do commentaries, well in my opinion they will serve a before and after service to any gold market abrupt changes. The actual reasons for a gold price explosion i agree with you that GATA will not be a direct, and at best an indirect cause, and will only serve to document and give people stuff to talk about while what really took place will remain alive and kicking and licking it's wounds and building up new resources to return. Sorry, i'm babbling again.
