picky - re:PCCW My last corrected notes have this dates: C&W-HKT, quotation suspended Aug 09, merger effective Aug 17, first trade Aug 22 as the new entity PCCW-HKT PCCW (1186.HK) still trades, and the old C&W-HKT ticker on Hong Kong 0008.HK is already renamed PCCW. Don't know what happens on the Street. HKT is suspended pending tender for PCCLF, pending???...new ADR and or ticker. Richard Li demissioned from his co-chair position at Hutchinson yesterday to avoid conflict of interest.(Hum? has he demissionned as the son of his father?) Broker made me sell half of my position Monday for margin purposes. PCCW was too speculative for him: would not believe me that the co was a major component of HSI. Will have to settle for half a house. LOL Yet another brokererage account I have to transfer this month.
