Dear Mani:

TFE (I do not remember the chemical name of the molecule) is a liquid coolant suitable for immersing silicon chips in (Like transformer oil, it is an insulator). I believe the Cray supercomputers used the stuff for cooling the heat generated by all the ECL logic used. It lowers junction temperature the same way water cools an engine. It has a much lower delta T than does a copper heat sink. The stuff is very expensive and you need a pump to circulate it (The fan on a HSF is a pump too) and a radiator somewhere. But condensation is not a problem with it.
