The SUNW thread was getting a little upset with today's price action, to which I said:

"NO ONE should be complaining about a stock with a 100+++++ P/e that keeps going up."

A classic response: "I disagree. Companies as large and solid as Sun with such high and consistent growth rates and excellent prospects are exceedingly rare and deserve a premium. I think in a couple of years we'll be looking back and calling today's prices cheap."

ROFLMAO!! exactly! new era, and all...

seriously, we have apparently synchronized global economic growth - just look at oil demand and the collapse in LME inventories for proof. however, as is well known, i believe this to be the 'false spring' before the secular deflationary trends take over again. we have seen numerous countries raise rates recently again, and the biggie, the ECB, is due with a 1/2 point on Aug 31. in the end, the world's CB's will bring on the deflationary winter by mistake...it's anyway an inescapable fate.

patience...we'll get our LLCF...when the time is right.
