Hi Freeus,

Congrats on our new wheels. I have the older version of the Odyssey ('96). We like it but the new Odyssey is much nicer and roomier. The only advantage with the older version is that it is easy to drive.

I have had different Honda cars for many years and never had a single problem with them.

My brother in law works for Acura and I just recently saw and test-rode their new MDX SUV. It is very nice and very reasonably priced.

Anyways, just wanted to let you know that you should have a good many years of trouble free driving with most Hondas.

Enjoy

Re: Odyssey We don't have a roof rack. We used to have to use one on another vehicle and used it to tie an X-Cargo on the top when we went on trips with the kids. But the Odyssey has so much room, we didn't need it.

When the back seat is up, the space behind the seat was able to hold 4 suitcases, beach gear, groceries, and whatall. And my view out the back wasn't impaired! Wonderful!

We like having the room so the kids can have the captain's chairs, and use the back seat, too. We have two kids, and sometimes we find that they behave better if they're separated.

Ok, Freeus, how are we going to make the money to buy the next one? Here's my strategy: I'm buying and holding the gorillas and kings: (CSCO, QCOM, EMC, INTC, etc.) I'm also holding some princes: RMBS, CREE, JDSU, NTAP, PMCS, BRCM, etc. I'm selling puts on the princes for income. (Not a lot on the puts, just a little.) Today, for example, I had to roll out on some NTAP puts I had previously sold. I originally sold Sept. NTAP 100's for 8.5, bought 'em back for 6. Made a little. Sold Sept 100's for 12.5. Kept my risk the same, just rolled out for another month and took in more income. Gee, I sound like edamo!

Best,
Adairm
