Re: put/call ratios. The QQQ always seems to have significant put activity. maybe this is mainly hedging, but there is always lots of put buying (I think more than calls) and it is the unwinding of this hedging which, IMO, is helping drive this sucker north.

I'm sure I knew at one point, but could you refresh my memory and tell me again why $32 oil is bullish?? -gg-

Heinz, I spoke to a friend of mine at a big hedge fund (several billions) there is a shortage of oil tankers.

The fund bought several months ago, several oil tankers and are leasing them ...... you guess at very attractive prices.

Will my dingy qualify as an oil tanker?? oh well small oil tanker <GG>
