Mr. Fun, spend more time in the field with large Carriers that are LU/NT/ALA customers rather than talking to your cronies and staring at the LU chart -- mumbling about how undervalued LU is compared to NT and CSCO.

While you are out in the field doing that, also spend some time keeping up to date on the technology and the evolution of networking as it affects Enterprise, Access, Edge, Core, Wireless space and you may get a better impression of which vendor is best positioned.

Also, talk to the field employees of LU, NT, ALA, & CSCO and you will probably get a much better "feel" for trends then listening to McGinn & company.

And lastly, learn from your mistakes.

Good luck Mr. Fun!

Mr. Fun,

""""We lightened up on LU right after the quarter and saved some pain. NOK is the stock that really hurt, but I'm still very bullish there. NT has been a real saviour. We're down against our benchmark since July 1, but not that bad.""""

Now I am in LU after you decided to get out. No NOK for me until it hits 20. (unless it signed deals with QCOM)

Good luck and appreciate you being honest to yourself,

Brian H.
