ike,

Oil has not really moved that much IMO- not compared to where it should be <g>. I think we need a crisis (monetary, commodity or even a war) to kick gold/silver back to where they should be- based in reality . I am hoping it will be oil that kick-starts the realization. That will change perceptions back to the reality that gold/silver (any commodities) are money (US dollars are "epaper"- they exist in your mind and nowhere else). Otherwise, the shorts will take their sweet time getting out (through a war of attrition and false perceptions that they are taking advantage of). I rather see them get caught with their pants down (only possible with a crisis).

As for BAY, they can make the project work in this environment. That is a rare thing these days. Of course that has nothing to do with stock price does it <g>...

Bruce

EDIT and yes as Wayne pointed out "things are different now". Stock/commodity price has everything to do with perception and belief rather than "value" (Oil is abundant; Miller beer will always flow; these commodities are all your right- nobody produces them; demand them and they will be there at your price; planes fly because you want them to, etc). Unfortunately, we still think of "value" when we invest and our perception is out of whack with the current beliefs. That is perhaps why we are suffering through this. The curse of being too early or too smart?
