bought some calls again a few days ago. anyway, you can even use gold as a proxy...it actually has slightly better relative strength. but i need to be hedged against a Euro rally...i think the 50 bps. are going to make some people nervous. could turn into an avalanche. the ECB must act now...if they wimp out again, the Euro could actually collapse imo. their credibility hangs on a very thin thread right now. their target for Euro zone inflation is 2% and it's running at 3,3% already. jumped mightily over the past two months. one country after the other comes out with dismal inflation data. Spain, Finland, Ireland,...
