Sorry to bring up the "P" word but does anyone else find Al Gore to be as hollow, transparent, and disingenuous and rhetoric filled as I do? We are talking about a guy who has a problem with the NRA and tobacco that took money from both groups to fund his convention. Now I'm not implying the Republicans are squeaky clean – far from it! But I just can't stand Al! He is as phony as a 3-dollar bill.

12:18 ET Harmonic (HLIT) 28 1/16 +5 3/16 (+22.7%): Bid up amid rumors that ADC Telecommunications (ADCT) will make a bid for the designer of digital and fiber optic systems. HLIT has traded 3.9 mln shares today vs avg. daily turnover of 3.4 mln.
