There are some similarities in our situations but the differences are important. We both canceled orders after the price got better then our bid ( or in your case ask) without executeing. (mine was canceled automatically at the end of the day). The differences are that you put in a market order afterwords and got a worse fill then your original limit. I put in a new limit order the next day and got a better price. The 29 minute fill for the market order on top of the no fill when the price get better then your ask and a few other thigns I have seen makes me wonder if option market makers play games successfully against the small options trader.
