Your buy in Feb at 202 might of been avoided and then your cost basis would not have been increased if you would of been looking at the chart Ouch -- how I sometimes wish Silicon Investor didn't archive posts! :-) I knew that buy was risky, but it was a what-the-hell kind of buy; I've paid for it, though not much. I'm only out of $6 a share right now on that buy. Definitely to each his own. I respect your decisions to use whatever methods suit you best. But here's the thing I always see about TA: it's always right ex-post, seldom right ex-ante. Put differently, the TA'ers always see the events coming -- after the events actually occur. If you would like to try to become the first ever TA'er to predict market events BEFORE they happen, please tell us where you predict NTAP stock in a week, or a day, or a month, or any other time period for which you are comfortable predicting. And please, no "it could go higher, unless it goes lower" TA tautologies; we want some predictions here! :-) Again, no offense intended, and I hope none taken.
