Sig: Risk is measured statistically. But win and lose is singular. That is either you are a winner or loser, your win or loss is yours alone.
Being pure mathematician (once upon a long time), I use statistics, but don't swear by them.
My system is a winner, whether the stock goes up or down, not on a day to day basis, but long term basis.
I used to mix strategies, but I decided to be more disciplined. That is working for me.
