looks&smells like a POS:Digital Island, Inc. offers a global network and related services for companies that are using the Internet to deploy key business applications worldwide, making it easier for companies to globalize their operations. For the nine months ended 6/30/00, revenue totaled $35 million, up from $7.5 million. Net loss totaled $216.9 million, up from $28.9 million. Results reflect continued strong demand for the Company's services, offset by increased amortization of intangibles.

webhoster that is one of the first to move heavily into the broadband apps.
losing lots of money right now due to expansion of hosting sites and servers
revs ramping up good, especially as broadband becomes widespread...

of course if the market crashes it goes down too...
pretty cheap as internet webhoster/infrastructure..market cap <$2bill...hehe
