Baton and carpedeum2000: Regarding CLECs.

Teligent(TGNT), Winstar(WCII) and Nextkink(NXLK) are dead meat and (IMHO) should be sold. I held NXLK for one year and sold it one week ago when it reached LT status. NXLK did well last year but has performed poorly this year and it is the best of the three, by far.

The problem with the CLECs is identical to that of GBLX and the raft of e-commerce Internet stocks, B2B stocks and internet incubators -- Wall St. is no longer willing to wait indefinitely to see substantial progress toward profitability. Wall St. is saying: "Show me the money!".
WCII and TGNT are bleeding red ink with massive debt as they continue they buildout. My advice: bail out now and buy something else.
