I thought this was particularly devastating, not only to Gore but for the media who refuse to scrutinize Gore's (and Lieberman's record -- calling Sen. Joe conservative is like calling Orson Welles svelte) record as they did for Cheney.

Question for Jlallen and Mr. Cummings:

I've been hearing/reading bad things about George W. Bush's past. On the Drudge Report a while back, a British newspaper alleged that George W. Bush was a wild and reckless (some would even say feckless!) young man who, according to some, had a cocaine problem and spent "lost weekends" in Mexico. Again, this is not me alleging this, but a British newspaper. I find this hard to believe.

Could one of you two erudite gentlemen please direct me to a Web site in which George W. Bush's background is discussed, say, year by year? Perhaps from the time he was a junior in college to, say, when he turned 35.

Much appreciated.

As an aside, if any of this is true, then isn't it just a matter of time before the Dems leak damaging stuff to the big Eastern newspapers?
