Every body in business is looking for any edge, angle or advantage they can use to beat the competition and improve there bottom line. It is competition. I personally think Affirmative action has done as much as it was ever designed to do. Alex's comment was only that her daughter was pissed because Jeb removed the edge that she held on some of the competition. Anybody in the private sector who loses a something that was giving them an edge would be irritated. There is nothing fair about finding your niche where you have some advantage over the competition. We are all looking for these things. She never said the daughter would be unable to compete without it.

sBill PLEASE. This is not about my Daughter who can take care of herself (She was Born, Reared and Educated in Ct. and Mass.) Affirmative Action in the South is about giving MINORITIES AND WOMEN AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY IN BUSINESS WHICH IS NOT A HANDOUT;-) <BTW> My daughter has been waiting for a CONTRACT, For a Position which she has to create herself (got that ????)
