Fortunately I was not "in" when it fell. But the fall came as the semis were all being reevaluated and repriced downward on fear that the semi peak was behind us. No one wants to be left "holding the bag." So CREE's fall was neither unexpected nor out of the ordinary. That said, the semis are being reevaluated once again. Is the cycle almost over? Should that really be effecting CREE as much as an AMAT? Good questions. All I can tell u is right now (based on the action of semis in general and the volume of the August buying) the street seems to think (for the most part imo) that the cycle has a ways to go.
