You non-government types just don't understand. They have to take the 2 million barrels out so that they can later release from the stockpile to satisfy the two million barrel shortage. Gosh, aren't they smart! What would we do without our imperious leaders?

Well Big Dog I hope you are right about KEG. I just added to an already substantial position. Just can't see them disappointing, BWDIK? That 20,000 on the ask is bogus. It took them several minutes to fill my meager order.

You see, government bureaucrats aren't dimwits. Looks like a good plan: pull some heating oil off the market, run up the price a bit, add to the scarcity, then next winter, when the temp. hits 10 degrees, come dramatically to the rescue. "You see where you'd be without us...."

Such a purchase will immediately bid the price of heating oil way up and guarantee a hard winter for a lot of consumers. The next move will be to try to distribute the heating oil to the deserving poor by issuing oil stamps to go along with food stamps. What an opportunity for racketeering, counterfeiting, bribery, and so on. The Russians are trying to learn from us and we are trying to learn from the Russians, evidently.
