Also, I don't know where you have been the last year, because this accusation has been thoroughly covered on this, and other, threads. He just started working for the Gore campaign last week.... JLA

Haqihana: Forgive me. I'm rather new to this thread. I didn't know that the subject of George W. Bush's sobriety had been covered so completely. If I had known that, I wouldn't have plowed up old ground. Gore has gone on record as saying he smoked marijuana cigarettes from time to time. I'm still waiting for similar candor from George W. Bush. The fact that George W. Bush refuses to answer the cocaine allegation because it's an insulting question is a cop-out. Clinton adopted the same tactic when asked about his sex addiction. Neither was honest with the American people, who have a right to know. That's a concept that a lot of people don't care about these days: That the American people have a right to know. I intend to vote in November for the candidate who is the most candid and honest. Right now, George W. Bush, the candidate who declined to appear in a "Hardball" Q&A forum with college kids a la Buchanan, McCain, Gore, Bradley, is, alas, trailing the pack in this category. It really is a shame that the Republicans couldn't have found a candidate with more candor and honesty. I think Jeb Bush of Florida would have made a much stronger candidate than his brother. Just my opinion. No need to reply. Thank you.
