Absolute waste of time IMO.

I've played with the beta version for awhile, and it's not going to improve anything, but some relatively minor multimedia enhancements.

You won't see any features that are new and great, and the reliability hasn't improved much either.

If you are going to upgrade, to so to Windows 2000 Pro, but bypass the $100 or so that MS wants for the ME upgrade.

Just my $0.02

Rich

"Anyone thinking of upgrading to Windows ME?"

this brings up a good point....

lately i've been thinking about doing a whole lot more with my pc than i really have been doing. like there's this balance thing going on where i understand that i'd better not devote way too much time to these machines. when i'm not working with or playing with a computer, i'm becoming more conscious of that fact. not saying good, bad or otherwise.... just more cognizant of the cyber hours versus the real time hours.

winme may not ever make it to the top of my to do list for this very reason

:)
