SF - you're convincing me it doesn't look good - i'd rather miss a few upside points than wait out a recovery if it heads lower - THANKS C26

BEAS-Or you could have bought it with the institutions when it bounced off it's 200 day moving average and you'd be up over 100% since early April, while playing golf everyday (weather permitting). The 200 day moving average is one of the generals favorite buying times so if they hold those levels you can do very well with the one's that have good fundamentals. Another good one was MU, now up nearly 200% since it bounced off there earlier. Heck, there's a bunch of them.

Not a fool proof strategy but a good one as long as you set your stops if the line doesn't hold. In those cases they will frequently come back through the line to the upside on strength and you can jump back in. A good example today is CREE. Up $10 from the 200 day buy signal and it will be interesting to see where this one goes. (Ran up 85% and 95% the last two times this happened this year.) SRNA is another one that you could have entered 17 days ago and up 52% since.

Sometimes we can get far too complex in set ups when simple strategies that have worked for many years still work very well. With so much computer power we often forget some simple programs that work as we attempt to find the "holy grail" with the computing capabilities that we know have at our disposal.

Are you talking about IQ Charts? If so, how do you set the STO indicator? If not, which charting service?
TIA, roxiell
