It's fairly obvious that AMD needs to carefully think out their road map strategy and execute more flawlessly than Intel. After all, they must take market share from Intel to succeed. Some realize this more than other here...
Some think AMD is doing just fine while others like myself get very frustrated when they see AMD fumbling the ball and missing opportunity. In this business, lost opportunity is virtually impossible to make up. In light of Intels wayward road map, it's even more frustrating to see AMD NOT take more advantage of it...
OTOH, AMD has only so much resources and decisions have to be made about what projects are more important...
Again, not much room for bad decisions....
Intel can afford to roll the dice on many projects and see what comes up.
