<<for example, i didn't see anyone recognize i had posted the roadshow date.... that should certainly play in one's short-term decision making process. wouldn't want to be out the days prior and during the roadshow... (merely 11 days away...) >>

Oh, yeah I noticed. That Yahoo! post may or may not be valid, but it fits with that. More grist for the synthesizer.

I agree. There can never be too much information - but there can be too LITTLE USE of that information.

Unless there is a late "headfake" it does look like a near $70 close. I kind of thought we might go a bit higher this afternoon.

You've really captured what I was getting at. I usually go on way too long so I was talking in short hand. People who post on these boards often chase rabbits and disseminate lots of information that is really pretty useless. Not like this board where we only discuss really important stuff like splitting Aces and 8's (whatever that means) and who's recruiting Grant Harrell.<G>

I'd like to amen what Paul S. said about Paul K. on the ECM board. He, along with Patroller*, is the Sector Investor of the ECM stocks and has helped me ride those ponies for some real nice gains even though I don't understand the finer points of what they do. One of the great things about SI and to a lesser degree Raging Bull and Yahoo is that people can get the benefits of days of research in minutes by reading the combined efforts of people with various strengths. On this board we originally got Dan Spillane's technical insights and the investing acumen of some others whom I've forgotten because they've moved on. Now we get the benefit of Sector and MikeM(from Fla.)'s technical expertise (to name just 2), Greg's market expertise, Regis's incredible digging up of obscure articles, others reading the Israeli press and the Chinese press, and on and on I could go. There is plenty of information right here to make an informed decision about MRVC.

*Patroller is an incredible investing success story. Find his posts on the ECM or Jabil thread where on the day of the Jabil split he says, "I now have xxxxxx shares of JBL" and follow the subsequent discussion.
