You may be right. He's admitted being so drunk that he doesn't remember some things.

Nah, the reason he doesn't answer is that he knows that if he answers it it puts him on the defensive and makes him look weak. The allegations against Clinton's use of cocaine were more founded yet ignored. The press has duplicity in ignoring Clinton potential usage.

Neocon:

You win the prize for today. Your reasoning in Post 29990 on why Bush hasn't been forthright on the cocaine question easily is the most ludicrous post of the day. It's simply amazing that anyone actually thinks along these lines and then shares such with the public. I am speechless.

I have another possibility for you on why Mr. Bush is taciturn on the illegal drug topic: Because he might ... just might ... have actually remembered and indeed has something to hide.

Someone else asked why the Dems haven't come forward with any witnesses and the like. I suspect they will, at the appropriate time. Timing is everything in these matters. Disclose such too soon, and everyone will forget come November. James Carville is pretty good at these things.

Don't forget to pick up your prize ... the Missouri State Fair pumpkin that looks like Richard Nixon ... at the east gate when you leave this room for the night.
