Costs an effing arm and leg (water), but when it's a question of saving the landscape, we do what's required. With your money, why do you worry in the first place? You can replace all turf, etc with a fraction of one month's CC write, yes? If you have the 'hand-held-hose' option, if I were you, I'd water the landscaping only. It's a nice break, after all, from the stress of investing. I've always had some of my best creative ideas for work/writing standing mindless with a hose in my hand <LOL> ... a hose that is usually GREEN and PLASTIC, BTW ... as opposed to any other interpretations of the word, "hose." <g> If Roswell will let ya get by with it, I'd keep the shrubs/ etc alive with the hand-held-hose method.
