Hi Dave, I used to do a little bit of everything, as it was a labor of love, not money. I did FM radio promotion work with them, and took DJ's to concerts and some backstage talks and interviews, arranged for free tickets and albums to be given away over the air, took photographs, did security work for them, convinced DJ's to give them more air-play, etc, etc. This was perfect for me at the time, because when I was very young in the early 1970's, it was one of my dreams to meet the band because I admired their talents and musical style so much. I still have an unused Renaissance ticket signed by Annie, because of me getting on the "guest list" for my prior work my girlfriend did not have to use hers..... I still have almost all of their original albums in mint condition plus most of their CD's and a few specialty items like an 8 track cassette recording I made of them live in concert off FM radio back in 1974, plus some unique regular cassette tapes I made in the old days..... One of my fondest memories was from the time I was going out with the drummer from "The Catholic Girls" (an all-female band from the late 1970's, early 80's), and we went to hang out with Renaissance before, during and after the show at a college in New Jersey (who's name escapes me now), and during the performance I managed to climb up to the top of the bleachers and get a good shot of Annie pumping her fists into the air cheering the crowd on! I also planned to do a video production with them in 1982 but things did not go as planned..... Northern Lights Yogi
